Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
When is the best time dive in alor?
The diving season in alor lasts for around nine months, starting from early April until the end of Desember. The best conditions are generally from April to November, with good visibility and calm seas, peak season is from june to September, offering the best underwater conditions.
How many logged dive are required to dive in alor?
For most dive site, a minimum 20 logged dives is recommended due to currents, However, begginers or divers with fewer dives can still enjoy easy dive sites under close supervision by our dive guides.
What water temperature can I expect?
Water temperature range from 24 -29° C, depanding on the season, and dive site. A 3-5 mm wetsuit is recommended.
Is Alor suitable for beginner divers?
Yes, alor offer a variety dive sites suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced divers, we will always select dive sites based on your experience level and comfort.
Do I need dive insurance?
Yes, dive insurance is strongly recommended for all certified divers. If you already have insurance(such as DAN or equivalent), please bring proof before diving.
